"Welcome one another, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God."
Romans 15:7

Welcome Letter

This is the Lord’s table. Our Savior invites those who trust in him to share the feast which he has prepared. So, come to this table, you who have much faith and you who would like to have more. You who have been here often and you who have not been here in some time. You who have tried to follow Jesus and you who have failed. Come. It is Christ who invites us to meet him here.

The words above are often used as an invitation to the Lord’s Table, an invitation to share the sacrament of Holy Communion, which we celebrate on the first Sunday of each month. I think those words work every Sunday, every day! At St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, our prayer and purpose is to be a place where all God’s people feel welcome. Maybe you grew up in church and have been a regular ever since, maybe you’ve been away from the church for longer than you can remember, maybe the whole church thing is something new… with both humility and confidence, we trust that it is Christ who invites you to met him here.

Whether you come in the through the doors of the sanctuary, office, fellowship hall or education building; whether you come though the web – you are welcome at St. Andrews! Our web page is an invitation to come and see what God is doing through our many ministries.

We have a variety of programs for children and youth – the St. Andrews School, our pre-school and after school care; a midweek program for children grades 1-8 called LOGOS that features Bible study, fellowship, dinner and worship skills; and our Sunday evening High School Youth Fellowship that offers opportunities for nurture, service, and fun! On Sunday mornings, you will find a welcoming congregation that enjoys worship and singing praises to God. Our new members consistently talk about our Music Ministry as one of the things that attracted them to St. Andrews. More than what we do at this address, we seek to be the people of God in the world. We strive to “do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God” (Micah 6:8) in our daily lives and through a wide variety of Local and Global Missions, which seek to meet our neighbors at their point of need.

We encourage you to join us in our work and worship. As you get to know more about us, we pray you will know more about the God who knows everything there is to know about us and keeps on loving us… who keeps on loving all of us!

Like Abraham and Sarah, may God bless you and bless others through you.
