Mission
At St. Andrews, we want to extend care to all of God's children through our Mission work. We invite members of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church to share their time and talents in just a few of the following service opportunities:
- We support some thirty Ministries financially and otherwise which encompass local, national and international needs, creating many opportunities to participate in God's work throughout our community and the world
- Through our Six Star Refugee Partnership, we join with five area churches to provide housing and other resettlement assistance to refugee families.
- With our sister church, Hillside Presbyterian, we share racial dialogue.
- We supply the Northlake-Embry Hills-Tucker Food Pantry with canned and dry goods and volunteer staffing.
- We cook and serve food to the men of the Druid Hills Night Shelter.
- We co-founded The Initiative for Affordable Housing, Dekalb, which provides permanent, affordable housing for homeless/low-income families.
- We provide support and meeting space to service organizations such as Al-Anon, Alcoholics Anonymous and Alzheimer's patients respite care.
- Through domestic and international mission trips, we seek to empower our youth to make a difference through service.
